- Do you offer full day coverage or is there an extra fee for this?
- Can you travel to more than one or two locations or is there an extra fee? What is the farthest you are willing to travel without extra fees?
- Do your packages include one or two photographers or do you work with an assistant? Is there an extra fee if I request another photographer or assistant?
- Do you have clients or references that I can talk to about their experiences?
- Can you come early to the ceremony to get extra shots? Does this cost extra?
- Do you offer a CD or DVD of the images? Is this in the package or does it cost extra?
- Can you customize a package for me or lower the price without taking anything out?
- How much are reprints?
- How long should I expect to wait until I receive my pictures?
- What kind of albums do you offer?
Before you finalize any contract, carefully read everything that is written in it. Be sure everything you discussed and want is in the contract, or you won't be guaranteed to receive it. Pay attention to the time constraints, travel, and other items in the package so you know what to expect. Overestimate the time period needed because of travel requirements or if you're running late. This will take away some of the worry so you can enjoy the big day.
Overall, as long as you like the photographer's style, price, and personality (professionalism), your wedding pictures should turn out beautifully.
